Available in 28 languages to assist in breaking the communication barrier including: English, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Amahric, Lingala, Kikongo, Swahili, Kirundi, Kinyarwanda, Kiganda, Kinyankore, Nyanja, Chibemba, Tshiluba, Bambara, Malenke, Tonga, Lozi, Tumbuka, Dinka, Bari, Kichewa, Kikuyu, Zulu, Wolof, Pealh, and Tetela.
Workshops and Classes:
Increased cross-cultural awareness amongst African, Aboriginal, and other ethnic communities in Winnipeg. This is accomplished through drumming workshops or weekly classes and story telling by elders of both communities.
Development and presentation of seminars to assist new African immigrants with using services offered by the City of Winnipeg, public transit, banking, Legal Aid, family doctors, driving classes, daycare, counseling, and immigration.
